We loved Thailand and thanks to a scheduling hiccup, we got to stay for an extra day. The only thing I wanted to do in Thailand besides eat, was meet an elephant. We visited the Elephant Nature Park.
that provides a safe place for injured, abused or abandoned elephants to live out their life. They also provide food, shelter and veterinary care to dogs- I was pretty much in heaven. The elephant images are at the bottom of the post but they are worth the cramp you'll get in your hand from scrolling though all of these images. Aside from meeting elephants, we visited temples, went to a cooking class, met cool people, got some massages, saw a lady boy show, got drunk off Thai whiskey and ate our faces off at the markets. I'd say it was successful week. Special thanks to Jessica Thieme for meeting up with us and showing us a good time.
