In June we made our way to Maine for a friend's wedding. I was ecstatic when we received the save the date. It was months and months in advance but I immediately started looking for a house to rent. This might be normal for some but I'm more of a last minute kind of girl. We were so happy for our friend and happy to make the trip. This was number 48 of the 50 states for Stu. This was my 43rd state, I know that because I just counted and I might have been competing.
Never the less, a Maine wedding in June is a lovely reason to travel! Thanks Diane! The bonus was sharing a house with some good friend's for a week and exploring a new place together. We just picked up where we left off. We laughed until it hurt, ate well, drank slightly more than a responsible amount and vowed to do it again somewhere else in the future. It was so lovely to hang on the other coast to celebrate love with people you love.
I regret to inform you that I do not have any photos to share from the wedding. Bringing your big DSLR to photograph a wedding when you are a guest is a faux pas that I wasn't interested in committing.
